Welcome to our “Happy Trails Hideaway” glamping tent on a tranquil, secluded homestead with myriad outdoor recreation activities nearby including: + Silverwood Theme Park and Farragut State Park, both a 5 minute drive + The quaint community of Bayview and beautiful Lake Pend Oreille, Beaver Beach, 10 minutes away + Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint, both 30 minutes away + Super One Foods, ACE Hardware, an urgent care center and a gas station, along with Highway 95, just about a mile away.

7 miles from the West entrance of Glacier National Park, this is perfect for couples that plan to be spending most of their time in Glacier. 12x14 wall tent with a wood burning stove for chilly nights! 1.5 acres. Private Entrance, all fenced. There is a solar panel to plug in essentials, and a camp stove and fire ring for cooking. We provide a cooler and a water. There is an outhouse with a propane heated shower. Not for light sleepers! The train comes by a couple of times a night.

You will have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Electric lights and heater, plug in for phone or laptop, Wifi (sometimes signal varies), Fire Pit and wood, Propane burners, well water through RV hose, and covered compost style toilet. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Kick back and relax on Elk Ridge for a full glamping experience. Elk Ridge is located on 10 acres at the top of Martin City. It gets its name after the 40 head of elk that frequent the property year round. We also have many other animals that come to visit. We are a short 8mi drive to the entrance of West GNP and a 2mi drive to the Hungry Horse Reservoir. We have bear spray for rent and firewood for purchase.
