Getaway to a cozy 1 bedroom w/loft for 2, up to 6 people. Full kitchen 1.5 bath all season getaway. There is a piano as well. A tranquil home steps from a private lake. Oak and Pine surround you plus a stone fireplace, it feels like the North Woods. The A Frame guest house shares a 5 acre compound ( total 20 Acres) with the owners residence and caretaker cottage. The Volo Bog 800ft away. No hot tub Nov - May. Swimming pool, June-October often cool to use in early June.

Hensley’s Cornerstone, Lakefront.

I affectionately refer to this house as “The House That Built Me.” Referencing (of course) the title of country artist Miranda Lamberts hit song, from 2010. The lyrics couldn’t be more accurate. My name is Crystal, and this is The House That Built Me. My father bought this property in 1970. He married my mother and her two children in 1976. I was brought home from the hospital in 1977 & raised here with my siblings, until eventually we all married and left home.

Overlooking Lake Galena, the home is great for bird-watching from the screened in porch or or front garden, or Eagle watching from the back deck. It is located in the Galena Territory and in Eagle Ridge. The beautiful Chalet is charming inside and out; nestled in the woods and located with the most scenic view Lake Galena has to offer.

This is a lovely A-Frame deep in the country. Wood floors, exposed beams, and completely customized (personally). Has plenty of parking, a beautiful view, fully functional kitchen (cast iron cookware), and, it is a perfect getaway.
