Comfy Western Style Rustic Tiny Bunk House

Before there were tiny houses, there were bunkhouses. This is a one room cabin style space with the bath providing a partial wall separating the bunks and kitchen. The western touches and wood ceiling in this tiny bunkhouse create a cozy getaway. It is the perfect stop and stay while exploring the Badlands National park . There are 3 campsites next to the bunkhouse, between the bunkhouse and hwy 73. There may be travelers coming thru or local workers as neighbors. Window AC in the summer.

Near Badlands National Park and Minute Man Missile Historic Site this beautiful cabin was built by our family on our historic ranch. This is a stand alone property with open great room including living room area, dining area, fully furnished kitchen/laundry. There are three bedrooms, 2 baths, AC, TV, outdoor grill, firepit, and large open front porch for relaxing. It is surrounded by a generous fenced yard. Breakfasts, with 24 hour notice, ($$) are available a mile down the road at the B & B.

Weekend travelers: Park on street next to Cabin. On Friday or Saturday nights we have events under the event tent on the lot that go past midnight (Check Wakin' Bacon FB page for dates). Wakin' Bacon food truck is available onsite. This cozy cabin is located in the heart of Wall only 8 miles from the Badlands. Find refuge in a comfortable space while exploring the Badlands, the Black Hills, and all SD has to offer. This one room cabin is spacious and inviting as it was recently remodeled.

Just 15 miles south of interstate 90 come stay with locals who've lived in the Badlands since the old days. Our ranch borders Badlands National Park just 6 miles to the main visitors center. The 4-bedroom 2 bath bunkhouse sits high atop our butte overlooking the Badlands where it's peaceful, private, quiet and has spectacular views in all directions. This listing is for the entire Bunkhouse (sleeping up to 8) however we do rent these rooms individually under the listing "Badlands Bunks".

The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are about 20 miles from the Badlands, 40 miles from Rapid City, and Beautiful Black Hills. Thank You, Billie

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind South Dakota stay in our custom, fully furnished grain bins. One bin features a spiral staircase leading to a queen bed, while the connected bin offers a second bedroom with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Also a futon and 2 single fold out beds. Includes a bathroom with shower, coffee bar, TV, and modern amenities. Relax with the whole family in this newly built ranch style home. This getaway has no TV or WIFI. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom with laundry, full kitchen and living room. All tastefully decorated in western theme. Come for a couple of nights or relax for a week! There is a Subway restaurant and two small cafes in town for the hungry or take a picnic to the Badlands after shopping at the local grocery store or Dollar General. All businesses close fairly early.
