The Little House on the Edge of the Big Woods

Welcome to the Little House on the Edge of the Big Woods. Come relax on our homestead in Northeast Michigan. This newly constructed chalet style home sits on 10 acres. Relax and view the cattle grazing in the fields or the whitetail deer foraging around. To the South is our homestead style farm which is home to our Scottish Highland cattle, mini horse, pigs, chickens, cats, and bunnies. To the North is the Huron National Forest. The city of East Tawas is only a short 4.5 mile drive as well.

Papa's place is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that over looks Tawas Lake, great for fishing, kayaking (we have two for you to use) & bird watching. The quaint town of East Tawas is only minutes away that offers wonderful shops & restaurants. Tawas beach (Lake Huron) is less than 2 miles away.
