Year-Round, pet friendly, private, relaxing. Country setting where privacy abounds. 156 acres of Mid Michigan Country with a 10 acre privately [FAMILY] owned lake. Great swimming, fishing/ice fishing, snorkeling, hiking. Perfect for a couple families. The kids will never be bored. Many extras. Pet fee is $52/pet per stay, please contact the owner regarding pets. Lakefront Cottage w/Pontoon, Dock & Paddle Boat

Nestled in a cove on the largest lake in Kent county, this cozy waterfront cottage has scenic views and 66' of private shoreline on Lake Wabasis. There are 2 bedrooms, front deck, side patio, bonfire pit w/benches & gas BBQ grill. Swan cottage also includes an 18' pontoon w/60 hp motor, 2 kayaks, paddle boat & dock from early May - late October (weather permitting). The cottage is dog friendly, however, yard is not fenced. But we supply a spiral ground stake w/cable & doggie life vests.

Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. This 1000sq ft home is on the Pere Marquette rail-trail, surrounded by peaceful country. Only 3 miles from hospital & Northwood University. A marked conservation trail is across the street. Tittabawassee River is a short jot down the road. Feel free to use the kayaks I provide. Enjoy coffee on the deck while watching the turkeys & deer. Enjoy yard games and the bonfire pit. Grill out using the gas grill provided. The Tridge and Dow Gardens are 5 miles away. Feel free to soak it all in :)

Feel right at home with a stay at a renovated cottage that brings together the traditional family cabin feel with a clean modern base. Situated on the north shore of 100 acre all sports Bass Lake. The cottage can be enjoyed throughout all of the seasons of Michigan. As fall approaches, note the state hunting land is just a 100 yard walk. The interior is a blend of rustic cozy meets modern touches. This is a home and not a hotel so you will find quirks that belong to any individual home.
