Located in the heart of Hakuba Valley, this natural stone villa was newly built, nestled among the trees in a holiday homes area. It overlooks the Japanese Northern Alps. The backyard deck view of the birds’ daily visit to the birdbath will make you feel healed and relaxed. The unique experience at the former Japanese traditional Kimono shop(about 97years old house). This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.

The first floor has four sets of mattresses in a tatami room., with kitchen, bath and toilet. The second floor has wooden flooring and a two shingle beds. You can spend comfortable time with your family or group. A microwave, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a cooker, and other daily necessities are provided. There is a seafood market, ramen shop, and supermarket in the neighborhood. There is a kitchen in the room, where you can buy fresh fish and cook for yourself.

During harvest you can eat delicious fruits and vegetables and rice.

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
