Glamping Cabin with Private Pond and Mountain View

This little glamping cabin with cozy woodstove is set at the far edge of a field overlooking a wildlife pond, seasonal fountain, and mountain. It is a peaceful place, surrounded by beauty, and special not just for these amenities but because it is improbably located on four private acres right in Manchester Center. The property abuts 70 acres of preserved land, but is steps from Main Street and all the shopping, dining, and outdoor options that this lovely year-round tourist town has to offer.

Guest House at Hummingbird Hill

Our small above-garage guesthouse on the New York-Vermont border is a retreat from busy life. The open floor plan, airy apartment has windows on all sides & overlooks woods & meadow. The guesthouse is ideal for those looking to get away from electronics and the internet (note: no Wifi), and hike and bike the area’s trails, and/or paddle the Battenkill River and area lakes. Or just sit on the deck with a book and cup of tea or glass of wine. Pets are welcome (we do charge a small fee for pets)!

Runamuk Farm

Picturesque location on farmland with views of the mountains. We are a micro farm. Wake up and watch the sunrise and go for a short hike on the property, and get to know the animals. We are located 35 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY and 45 minutes from Dorset and Manchester, VT. Hike the Adirondack or Green Mountains, paddle the streams or go to a nearby small city for a play, a festival, or a concert. There is a long list of things to do and see within an hour of our camp.

The Farm cottage

Take a break and unwind at this little peaceful oasis. A little bit of the country is right beside you with the neighing of horses and the clucking of chickens who roam our property. We are close to Bennington College and great restaurants and Robert Frost house. We are 35 minutes from Manchester that has some great restaurants and shopping. Bromley ski resort is just beyond Manchester in Peru Vermont . It is a year around resort with water slides in summer and skiing in winter .

Saratoga Springs is a beautiful horse racing town rich in history nestled on the edge of the Adirondack State park. Easy access from NYC and Boston. Beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse situated on 4.6 private acres within a 180 acre working farm. Five bedrooms, wood stoves, ample living space, and a cheery sun room with gorgeous views make this house one of a kind. Our backyard features an in-ground, heated, salt water swimming pool (open May to mid-Oct), fire pit (open year-round), large outdoor dining table, gas grill, and a deck with lounge seating and jacuzzi (open year-round). Parties and events are not allowed.

The Smithy Cottage at Consider Bardwell Farm

The historic “Smithy" at Consider Bardwell Farm is the original building used for blacksmithing by Consider Bardwell, himself, in the 1800s. Complete with brand-new, architect-designed kitchen and bathroom, wood-burning fireplace, and stone patio for outdoor grilling and dining, the Smithy is beautiful inside and out. Enjoy meeting our goats and all the local goodies and products that we can stock in your cottage.
