Welcome to Wagtail Air BNB! Our little Wagtail Nest offers a private, relaxing and romantic experience. Enjoy a bubble bath overlooking the countryside, sip a coffee on the deck or sit by the fire pit under the stars. We are located fifteen minutes from the ninety-mile beach (Seaspray) and ten minutes from the township of Sale where there are pubs, restaurants and ample shopping. The guesthouse sits on the sheltered and private side of the main residence and one acre site, overlooking large trees and gardens. There is a public nature track which leads to a lakeside beach and private jetty.

Koala Kottage’s refurbished interior features a living area, dining area, exquisite large en suite bathroom with garden courtyard view and an ultra modern fully equipped kitchen . There is also an eating area and BBQ outside on the vine covered deck or make use of the seated fire pit area with a barbecue cooking plate . The Kottage features vaulted timber lined ceilings with sky light. Surrounded by a natural habitat of gum trees, koalas, kangaroos and colourful native birds.

From the moment the birds wake you, through to the gorgeous sunsets you will be mesmerised by the view of Lake King. Metung offers a variety of activities such as boating, fishing, sailing, walking and cycling. The State Forests and beaches are a short drive away. Metung village is a 1.5km walk or drive away.

The cottage is located in Marine Parade behind an art gallery, everything is in walking distance, with space to park your car and boats. (A mooring on the adjacent jetty is available for additional fee). Across the road from the property is the beautiful Gippsland lake, ready for you to put the boat in and explore.
