Excursions to Bratislava, the Roman city of Carnuntum or the nearby Marchfeld castles by bike or boat are particularly recommended in the summer months. Our stylish country home is perfect for group trips and family gatherings. Originally an inn for travelers visiting the mill, the home retains original features such as wood flooring, doors and windows and showcases a collection of local 18th and 19th century furnishings. In summer, the back garden is a perfect, cool place to enjoy meals, pick fruit and lie in the sun. Our beautiful country house is nicely located at the heart of the Lednice-Valtice area, an UNESCO protected region famous for its wines, its palaces and its natural environment. The house is 10 minutes walk from the main square of Valtice, where you can find cafes and restaurants, but conveniently located at the edge of the village, surrounded by wines and fields, and just at the start of the popular wine route.
