Only the surf pounding in the near distance and the whistle call of raptors and eagles, song birds, and cicada can be heard day and night. Monkeys will chatter and argue from time to time in the forest, and my Hornbill family will squawk in the cashew nut trees when they come for breakfast or dinner.
