Only 30 minutes from Glasgow and seconds from the ferry to Dunoon & Argyll highlands, you can spot seals & porpoises while you watch the sun set. A small 'traditional meets modern' cottage nestled on the main road in Lamlash. The cottage is a short 10 minute walk to the village centre to few great pubs and restaurants. The kitchen is well kitted out for making home made meals too. With beautiful hillside views, the cottage is close to Lamlash beach (5 minute walk), coastal paths and the 'The Ross' road for travel to the south end of the island. The main bus stop is 1 minute walk along the road making travel by foot very accessible.

No 1 Shedock Cottage has been completely renovated inside and out, originally a shepherds cottage it is now a very modern living space. The entrance leads into the living room with a kitchen extension to the rear this follows onto a private sitting area outside at the back of the cottage. The bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Heating throughout the cottage is electric with flame effect fire in the living room.

Carradale Kintyre - cosy Victorian cottage

Take the long and winding road to Carradale - this end of terrace Victorian stone built cottage provides a cosy retreat for couples or small family. Airds Wood Cottage is situated in the centre of this peaceful village, just a few minutes walk from the working harbour and a selection of forest walks. Choice of 3 glorious beaches within 6 miles. The golf course is just a minute away and village pub and selection of eateries within walking distance. Dogs are welcome - first 2 dogs free.

Welcome to Whin Cottage, a cosy stonebuilt home on the South West coast of Arran. Dating from 1900 when it was a farm house, it looks out over fields to the southern Arran hills. Our cottage is a great place to escape from the many stresses of everyday life, have a digital detox ( no wifi by choice) whilst offering a perfect base from which to discover Arran.
