Just 10 minutes from Cygnet and less than an hour from Hobart, your relaxing break awaits. Set among paddocks and wooded hills on our farm, you'll feel completely removed from the hustle and bustle of the normal every day. Watch the fairy wrens dance outside, take in the huge skies and towering eucalyptus trees, pat a goat, and if you're lucky, see the wedge-tailed eagles.

Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Apple Crate Shack

The house is a spacious architect-designed one-bedroom studio: great for couples enjoying a weekend away or solo adventurers looking to explore the area. Watch the sunrise over the Channel, chill out on the deck in the afternoon sun, then finish the day with a hot outdoor shower under the stars (indoor shower also available). Located in Flowerpot, my place sits between a heritage apple orchard and an organic vineyard, 40 mins from Hobart. The house is NOT on Bruny Island but 10mins drive away

Luxury yurt glamping at Littlegrove

Nestled in an olive grove with views over Bruny Island’s famous Fluted Cape, our yurts offer the ultimate romantic glamping experience, with private bathroom and cooking facilities and an outdoor bath and fire pit for star gazing. Each yurt is furnished with vintage wares collected from all over the world, an internal wood fire, timber floors, and wool lined walls for cosy nights. Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.

Here at Great Bay Hideaway relax in this peaceful setting whilst planning your Bruny Island adventures. Only a stones throw from Get Shucked Oysters and the Bruny Island Cheese Company and a brisk walk to the beautiful Great Bay beach. AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
