Welcome to Te Kāinga Rangimārie, the house of peace and harmony! I am offering a quiet accommodation on a 2ha lifestyle property that supports a sustainable, self-sufficient life and has breathtaking lake views. The AirBnB is a unit next to the main house for up to 4 people, ideal for a couple or family with kids. The unit has a bathroom and basic kitchenette items, the main kitchen is shared with me in the main house. I have 3 large dogs that are very friendly and love guests.

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. You can feed the alpacas or visit the chicken to collect some eggs. There is always a spare paddock for horsey people visiting the area and plenty of room to park a trailer or boat. We are located 10 min away from Hobbiton, Karapiro lake and 15 min from Cambridge town centre.

If you are looking to try something unique for your next getaway, come and stay at our Lithuanian-style pod. Situated on a small lifestyle block, enjoy a slice of rural life with chooks to feed. From the deck, you can watch the sun rise, cows grazing and sometimes in the distance White Island puff smoke off the coast. Best of all, start up a fire to heat the hot tub, keep piling on the wood and in about three hours, lie back and relax under the stunning milky way.

The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink. The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls. Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.

From the deck you can witness spectacular sunsets and immense starry skies as well as the daily routine of a working farm. Situated near the holiday township of Kinloch, and just a 30 minute drive from Taupo, this luxury accommodation combines all the elements of comfort, elegance and ease while still offering those camping experiences we all enjoy.
