Ιt is half anhour driving west of Chania and 4klm west of Kissamos town. It is 50klm of Chania airport. Distance 1 min.on car there are gas station, bakery supermarket, taverns and distance 1 klm there are a lot of small beaches with crystal water like (νiglia pahia ammos)

Just a few minutes for port to Balos, fifteen minutes to Falassarna and one hour to Elafonisi by car.

It is also near to other well-known beaches (Balos, Gramvousa, Sfinari and Elafonissi) and to Kasteli (a small town 8km away from the village).
