Arctic Aurora Cabin

A peaceful and private cabin in Kjós, Hvalfjörður, Only a 30 min drive from the capital area, newly renovated with a new jacuzzi, perfect for a family or friends to relax, less than a 10 minute drive to the Hvammsvik hot springs. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a bunk bed size 80cm w. upper bed and a 120cm w. lower bed and 200cm long and the other bedroom has a 2x90x200. It's a perfect fit for 4 people but there's also a spacious sleeping loft with multiple mattresses for extra sleeping space.

It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

Very private and cozy dome in a rare location. If you truly want to meet the Icelandic nature and weather then this is the place for you. It has a fireplace, panorama sauna and not a person in sight. A superb place to see the northern lights or enjoy the midnight sun. You have to work for your reward by walking for about 10 minutes to the dome from the parking at the farm. Its a good base if you want to go visit the golden circle but want to ditch the traditional hotels and the crowds.
