Numbi Valley, a magical Permaculture Oasis

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. There are scenic walks, cycling routes, fresh produce , excellent massage, delicious pizza, stargazing and wi-fi. We would love to have you stay!

Kerneelia Farm Cottage, at Doornkraal

Luxury meets Karoo hospitality at Kerneelia, a quaint and secluded cottage with a wonderful mountain view on our Klein Karoo farm near De Rust. This romantic cottage is located on Doornkraal, a farm that has been in the loving hands of five generations of our Le Roux family. Come take in the fresh air and explore our farm on foot or bicycle. We also offer horseback riding, a great way to see the area and get to know our beloved horses. Included in rate: A bottle of wine, some fire wood.

Vogelsang Farm Cottage | Self Catering

This private open-plan self catering farm cottage offers old-world charm with a stylish, minimalist touch. Designed for eco-conscious living, it runs on minimal electricity and features a fridge-freezer, water cooler, gas stove, and gas geyser. While there’s no TV, WiFi, or strong network coverage, it’s the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. This cottage is situated across from the beautiful heritage church off the main road, yet still walking distance to all attractions De Rust has to offer. The cottage offers crisp high thread count bedding, a new mattress, fresh towels and a modern shower. The unit has high speed uncapped wifi, as well as safe and secure parking behind an automated gate.

Cloud Cottage

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.
