This space is a small, clean, beautiful studio, with private entrance, restroom, and kitchen right on Fire Lake. The suite offers a stunning lake view right from your window! The unit is attached to main house. However it is completely separate and on the other side of a garage. We are located just outside Anchorage on Fire Lake with lake access and year round activities including boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, ice skating, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.

Relax in this private 1-bedroom downstairs mother-in-law apartment nestled at the base of Mount Baldy, in walking distance of downtown Eagle River, and a 15 minute drive from Downtown Anchorage. We have everything you need for your trip to Alaska. Be forewarned, you will most likely meet our Doodle (Nala) during your stay, it is a kid friendly household, and an old house with baseboard radiant heat. The house stays nice and warm, but during the winter the whole place crackles.

Guest Suite -Bigger Than a tiny home

This is a large guest suite on the first floor with Private Entrance, Private En-Suite Bathroom, Large Dressing Room, Refrigerator, microwave, dining table and sleeper sofa. The entrance is private and is accessed from the private driveway. Outside there is a bar-B-Que Grill, Firepit and yard. If a need arises during your stay, we are an email or phone call away. We look forward to hosting you. There isn't a sink in the main room.

Close to Iditarod headquarters, Selters Bay Golf course, 30 minutes to Hatchers Pass, 1 hour to Talketna, fishing, hiking, breweries, mountains and much more. We are 30 minutes from downtown Anchorage, 10 minutes from the nearest store, and only 5 minutes off the Glenn Highway - but the views will make you feel like you travelled much further into the woods.

15 miles north of Anchorage our property is 4 acres of woodlands with a view of the mountains and frequent visits from Alaska wildlife. We live within 5 miles of 7 different public access lakes & are between Anchorage & the Matanuska Susitna Valley. There is additional off street parking for a boat and/or RV.
