To overcome load-shedding, we have a gas stove along with battery back-up for lights, fans, fridge, tv/decoder, router and plugs.

Wayra is a studio apartment for those who, like us, love to be wrapped by the bush feeling and the scents of the wild. Designed in armochromy with the surrounding landscape it's a serene space with an Aqua tones splash pool facing the bushes and a private patio naturally framed by preserved parkland overlooking Lionspruit Game Reserve. The Woodshed is ideally placed only an hour's drive from The Kruger National Park or the closest border into E'Swatini (Swaziland). In the foothills of the World Heritage listed Makonjwa Mountains with their 3.6 Billion year old Geological history. Scenic drives and hiking are nearby. The historic 1884 Goldrush town of Barberton is just a 2km walk away. Gold mining tours and panning are available and the area still has 7 working gold mines. Fresh air, great views, peace, quiet, privacy.

Dagama Lake - Wolhuter House

Set on the banks of Da Gama Lake, between White River and Hazyview, this rustic two-bedroom home offers breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the water. A winding path leads down to a private sundowner spot right on the lake’s edge, the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. From here, you also have access to peaceful walking trails that meander through the area. For the more adventurous, the dam provides an invigorating and refreshing swim in its clear waters.

Fledermaus. Fully self-catering. There is a braai on the private patio, and a fireplace inside the lounge for cold evenings. This unit has a double bed, with en-suite bathroom. We offer hiking, fly-fishing, bird watching, MTB riding and so much more. The waterfall is walking distance, and offers spectacular views or the valley below. We have a convenience shop, as well as a chef, that can prepare breakfast, lunch/brunch or supper on request.
