The Bakoni Hide-Away, Schoemanskloof

The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

Take it easy at this unique tranquil off-grid, getaway. The secluded and private Stone Cottage is nestled among lush indigenous trees and next to a irrigation canal. Thatched and built from stone the cottage offers stunning views into a verdant garden and over a farm dam. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, work and generate electricity is based on being environmentally sustainable. South Africa's leading lithography studio, The Artists' Press is also located here.

Thula Sana Lodge

The base rate is for 2 people. Additional guests after the first 2 will be charged an additional rate per person per night. Thula Sana is a private lodge in Mjejane Game Reserve. Tranquility at its best, lounge on the patio and watch the elephants go by or enjoy a sundowner in the loft and gaze into the game reserve. This is the place to be to relax and unwind in the bush. The lodge has a gym and swimming pool. There is also a study with a place to work, and a bookcase with books to read.

Between a rock and a beautiful space… Tussenklip offers an unique, romantic hideaway experience for two, tucked between two ageless gigantic granite boulders. Nestled amongst the pristine granite outcrops of the Lowveld, almost invisible to the eye, it is a true architectural gem. It has a lounge area, indoor fireplace, patio gas grill, well-equipped kitchen and decks with breathtaking views. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom, as well as a secluded jetted bath, are situated on lower decks.

Kunye Lodge is situated in Mjejane Game Reserve which is within the borders of the greater Kruger National Park. This luxurious self-catering lodge is truly magical, one can only but be in awe of the surroundings. Here animals roam free. The lodge offers 5 Villas each has a king size bed, full bathroom. This is a very comfortable, centrally-located family home with an open-plan living space leading out to a large deck, which overlooks a sparkling pool and treetops of the adjacent green belt. The house is best suited for up to 4 adults and their children (maximum 6 guests in total). Because the unit only has 2 ground floor bathrooms, we will not be able to accept booking requests for 6 adults. Strictly no noise and no parties allowed.

There is a big patio area with dining and relaxing spaces, a private pool & boma add to the peaceful setting of the bush.
