Private entrance to a spacious bed & bath. There is several hundred feet of Hermosa Creek that runs through our secluded 8 acre creekside property. Relax in the hot tub on the backyard deck while enjoying a beautiful view of the red cliffs and creek! We are located just 15 minutes from downtown Durango, 20 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort, and 5 minutes to Trimble Hot Springs. There is also a cafe, gas station, and liquor store half a mile away. We also have another studio airbnb on this property

Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a very friendly Labrador Retriever and a Basset Hound that live on this property but not allowed in the apt.

Art Shack - A Tiny Cabin For 2

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil getaway in the rural Hesperus/ Durango/Mancos area. The views of the La Platas and Sleeping Ute are ever changing, awe inspiring, and constant from the rustic deck of The Art Shack. This is a glamping cabin with a composting toilet and queen bed. Please read space details below. On the property are cats, two dogs, two equines (you will hear our burro braying), neighboring farm animals, and the wild critters that inhabit our corner of La Plata County.

This spacious, comfortable suite is fitted with an efficiency kitchen with all the basic amenities, a queen-size Temperpedic mattress, and a full-sized washer and dryer. Located just 20 minutes from Durango, 35 minutes from Mesa Verde, and steps away from the hot tub! My husband and I live full-time in the house above and are happy to offer advice on the area.

This 1-bedroom, contemporary apartment was built in 2018 and is ready for you to enjoy Durango. Come stay in the heart of Old Animas City, a 4-minute trolley ride from downtown. On the north side of town, you'll enjoy walking to several local restaurants, rec center/pool, river trail, grocery store, and hiking trails. Welcome to our little slice of heaven. The apartment is above our detached garage and accessed through a separate private entrance. We've equipped it with everything you might need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The neighborhood offers a lake (with a walking trail) right across the street, National Forest access, and wildlife (deer, turkeys, the occasional bear). We do live onsite and are here should you have questions or need recommendations.
