The house is nestled on a private farm next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.

The design of this house is inspired on the Oxcart which were very important for the economy of the country on the 1900's. You will also find our grandpa's Oxcart next to the house, and it is very photogenic, so feel free to take a nice picture of it, with the Volcano at the back!

Next to the kitchen you'll find a small dining area with garden view. Outside you'll have a nice terrace with chairs and a table. Wifi is at the cabins free of charge.
