On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. This is the perfect little getaway! Sit outside in the morning with your cup of coffee on our beautiful patio and sit by the fireplace at night with a glass of wine or cup of tea after your daily activities.

This rustic cabin sits on the edge of the San Bernardino Mountains, and has everything you need to get away. Green Valley Lake is located at 7200 feet making it the highest village, meaning more snow in winter and cooler temps in the summer. There is a swimming beach w/ lifeguards, boats to rent, and a well-stocked fishing lake 5 minutes away. We’re close to the ski slopes and hikes too.
