Welcome to Treehouse on the Lake! This spacious, five-bedroom lakefront home features great lake views, a private dock, two wrap around porches, and a small stream in a beautiful forest setting. The home sleeps up to 10 guests in five bedrooms. Relax on the deck and walk down to the private dock- great for swimming, fishing, kayaking (kayak provided), or simply soaking up the sun. In the evenings, gather around the lakefront fire pit or enjoy the wood burning stone fireplace in the living room.

Enjoy this beautiful lake view cabin in the mountains. Rent a pontoon boat right at signal ridge marina less than a mile away. Chase some local waterfalls in the area just a short drive. Go shopping and grab dinner in Cashiers just 3 miles away or 20 minutes away for Highlands main st area. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sit back and enjoy the sunset over the lake and mountains and maybe some smores over the firepit. The lake view is fantastic but there is no direct access.

This cabin-like home is nestled on a hill beside a 250 foot waterfall. As the water cascades to the bottom it turns into a creek that wraps around the property. The waterfall and can be enjoyed from almost every room. The elevation is at 3800 ft providing perfect temperatures for most of the summer, hence, no air conditioning. There is a fully stocked, renovated kitchen and washer/dryer upstairs. The house is located 15 minutes from Cashiers which has restaurants and groceries.

Turn right onto Route 64 and travel 20 minutes to the town of Highlands, NC to explore Main Street and its' shopping and restaurant experiences.

Welcome to Lazy Moss Cabin in Western North Carolina, you can see more if you go to You Tube and search for the name Lazy Moss cabin. Situated among the lush mountain laurel, native rhododendron and moss covered yard at a cool elevation of 3500 feet. We area a pet friendly rental with a limit of 2 pets per visit but NO pet fee because we have found that pet owners are very considerate of our cute cabin so thank you and enjoy your stay.
