The 65-mile network of carriage roads in Minnewaska State Park Preserve and the Mohonk Preserve is accessible just a few hundred yards from a historic modernized house. You can explore swimming holes and lakes, many miles of more rugged trails, and the popular climbing area (Gunks) of Peter’s Kill, just a 5-minute walk away.

Sleep in upstairs under deep-set skylights, observe wildlife out our large picture windows, or curl up by the fire on the rustic screened porch. Daydream on our hammock or dine alfresco taking advantage of our barbeque. On a clear night, it is easy to stargaze up through the tall trees, perhaps while toasting marshmallows fireside.

A custom made tiny cottage, located on a private tree lined road with just a few houses on it. The design style is farmhouse rustic with original details. It is private, fully equipped, and centrally located. The front of the cottage has a sun drenched porch equipped with lounge chairs and bbq. The back of the cottage is has a screened in porch, an outdoor huge tub and lounge. It is facing a beautiful pond, a fire pit and deep woods and vibrant nature.

The Treecastle at the Roundhouse Homestead

The Treecastle started as a vision when I was a child, but came to life during the quarantine of 2020. Escaping into the woods and surrounded by nature, the treecastle is supported on one end completely by a mature pin oak with hardware from Treehouse Masters TV show.
