The interior has been newly renovated to include modern fixtures and finishes to an open floor plan that maximizes the breathtaking views of Lake Superior. For epic panoramas of the lake head out to the yard for a hot cocoa by the bonfire, or a glass of wine at the charming deck on the bluff's edge. Or take the path down to the private beach featuring 280' of pebble and sand shoreline. Access to bike and hiking trails.

Captains Quarter's is located in a unique fishing village with the Big Traverse River on one side and Lake Superior on the other. Inside the home large windows provide views of both the lake and the river. Your private beach on Lake Superior is 110 steps away from the back door. The sunrises along with views of the Huron Mountains, sandstone cliffs of Louis Point are a site to see, from the comforts of the home. Snowmobile trail is very close just 9/10's of a mile away.

The Beach House

Beautiful year round beach house. This tiny house is located on Second Sand Beach. Guests will enjoy an all sand beach on Lake Superior. It is 8 miles from the town of L’Anse, and a 40 minute drive to Houghton. Cross country ski trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and ORV trails are minutes away. Participate in the many summer and winter fishing tournaments in the area or relax and unwind on the private beach. A boat launch area is a short walk down the beach.

Tranquilo at Agua Norte: Lake Superior View+Sauna

Only 4 miles from Grand Marais, Tranquilo is a part of Agua Norte: “The Coolest Airbnb in MN” by Condé Nast. In our family for the last five decades, this homey Lakeshore cottage is prepped and ready to host newcomers to give them a taste of our Keweenaw Peninsula paradise. Enjoy a private beach with bonfire ring, recently renovated deck with furnishings, fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms (with comfy King, Queen & Twin beds). Centrally located between Copper Harbor and Eagle Harbor, each just a short drive away.
