The Wee Cottage by the Ferry

Our fully refurbished Wee Cottage offers incredible views over the River Clyde. Only 30 minutes from Glasgow and seconds from the ferry to Dunoon & Argyll highlands, you can spot seals & porpoises while you watch the sun set. There's a double bedroom upstairs and comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, free private parking, and we include a wee breakfast as well. Just 5 minutes from the Gigha ferry and 20 minutes from Islay ferries, it’s a perfect base for exploring Scotland’s West Coast. A 10-minute walk from the shore and Beacharr Standing Stone, the cottage offers direct access to coastal paths and surrounding landscape. Sleeping four, it’s ideal for couples, walkers, cyclists and remote workers seeking a relaxed coastal escape.

A small 'traditional meets modern' cottage nestled on the main road in Lamlash. The cottage is a short 10 minute walk to the village centre to few great pubs and restaurants. The kitchen is well kitted out for making home made meals too. With beautiful hillside views, the cottage is close to Lamlash beach (5 minute walk), coastal paths and the 'The Ross' road for travel to the south end of the island. The main bus stop is 1 minute walk along the road making travel by foot very accessible.

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Ideal couples base for exploring the Island

No 1 Shedock Cottage has been completely renovated inside and out, originally a shepherds cottage it is now a very modern living space. The entrance leads into the living room with a kitchen extension to the rear this follows onto a private sitting area outside at the back of the cottage. The bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Heating throughout the cottage is electric with flame effect fire in the living room.

The Marine, Piersland and South Beach hotels are all within a 5 minute walk. A 15 minute walk to shops, restaurants, bars, cafes & train station. Ideal for a couple, family or golf party.
