We've hosted lovely folks from all over the world since 2017 in our family home--and now, we embark on a renovation journey. Changes for 2/1/26 + New sleeping arrangement; double-bunk bed replaced with 1 King bed + House capacity changes from 10 to 8 + Upgrading living room sofas and chairs + Repainting 3 rooms This is just the start of a broader vision we expect to complete by 2028. Relax under the pines in the hot tub or on the deck featuring a gas firepit and 10-person table. Inside, you'll find everything you need for a well-appointed getaway. Worlds away from the hustle & bustle of real life; just 10 minutes west of Rapid City.

Reato House--Cozy comfort away from home, HOT TUB!

This house is a comfy, cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath house built in the early 1900's and recently updated. It is in the heart of the Black Hills, minutes from Deadwood. It is close to skiing and snowmobiling in the winter; hiking, sightseeing and fishing in the summer. The deck overlooking Lead offers a space in the sun or a covered portion for shade. Four person hot tub and fireplace makes the end of day so relaxing! Be aware, there are 32 stairs from street to house. Trailer parking available.

Two bedrooms, both containing queen beds, one of these adjustable, the other with a fold-out chair for extra space if needed. One level, open floor plan with a large comfortable sectional that will also pull out into a bed if additional sleeping space is needed. Outdoor fire pit and grill available for your use. Fully stocked kitchen to make you feel right at home while enjoying the Black Hills.

A unique, secluded, rustic cabin nestled on 10 acres of Ponderosa pine forest. Only 12 minutes from great food and cafes in Spearfish; 20 minutes to Deadwood. The cabin is best for couples, families and groups of close friends.
