Killeavy Cottage is nestled between the magnificent Slieve Gullion mountain and the calm, tranquil waters off Camlough Lake in a picturesque rural setting close to the bustling shopping city of Newry, and not for from the lively town of Dundalk. A unique location with breath-taking scenery with access to bike trails and Hill walking at Slieve Gullion Forest Park.

Escape to our hillside farm retreat, featuring a private fenced cabin with breathtaking sea, mountain, and Dublin city views. It has an en-suite bathroom with hot shower, a coffee machine, filtered water, kettle, gas heater, electric blanket, and access to a shared kitchen. Unwind in our sauna or hot tub for extra fee. Feel free to interact with our farm animals(horses, alpacas, goats, and sheep.) A direct bus to the city center is just 350m away. It’s Not suitable for infants or the infirm.

Peaceful cabin retreat on animal sanctuary

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

Beautiful Pod, Glendalough Glamping (Adults Only)

Located on a naturally wooded hillside with extensive views of the mountains, we provide a close-to-nature experience. Wild deer and birds are seen regularly. Our premium, adult only (18+) glamping facility is located in the heart of the Wicklow mountains, only 200 metres from the Wicklow Way. We are just 50 minutes from Dublin, and accessible by bus. Our unique location provides rural seclusion whilst being within a 500m stroll of local shops, pubs, restaurants and public transport.

The Studio in the Sky

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle
