Cozy Nest on the Platte River

Enjoy quiet country living in our guest house by our home on the Platte River. There are forty acres where you can fish, walk, swim, or just relax on the porch. The nest accommodates a family of four, but if you need more space ask to add the River Room to your reservation. Enjoy one of the restaurants nearby or bring your own food and utilize our gathering space with couch, tv, fridge, kitchenette, and grill. WIFI is available but we recommend you put down the devices and enjoy your getaway.

Get away from the busyness of life and relax in this peaceful farm cabin under the stars. The cabin features a full kitchen and dining area, along with access to an outdoor patio equipped with a grill, picnic table, and pergola. Inside, you’ll find a cozy living area with a loveseat and a 50” TV perfect for snuggling up and watching your favorite movie. Grain Bin Getaway

Nestled at the foot of the Loess Hills, this repurposed grain bin is a sight to see. Every inch of the inside has been customized for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Omaha, as well as within a quick drive to numerous state parks. There is even an external electrical hook up for campers. Finally, our grain bin includes 20 acres of the Loess Hills to explore. We recommend hiking to the top of the ridge for sunset. It's breath taking.

Relax in this newly renovated, modern cabin. An easy 40 minutes from Sioux Falls, its truly lakeside location lets you wake up to the sound of crashing waves just outside your bedroom window. Enjoy a peaceful morning coffee on the deck, then explore the lake via kayak, and finish your day by coming up to a romantic fire under the gazebo. Perfect for a couple’s getaway. Convenience store and Hillside restaurant located within walking distance. Lakes Golf Course is 1.4 miles away.

The Grain Bin Lodge and Retreat

Sorry, no children under the age of 12. This large grain bin has been converted into a rustic two story getaway using reclaimed barn wood and many antiques. The 700 square foot main floor includes a full bath, a vintage retro kitchenette (micro wave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, NO OVEN), reclining love seat, a smart tv with WIFI and Direct TV, along with a large dining area with 2 tables. The 500 square foot open loft area includes one full bed and 2 queen beds.

Welcome to the Lookout Loft Treehouse! Find a retreat in this peaceful hilltop oasis just a short 20 min drive out of Sioux Falls, SD. Sleep in the clouds on your dreamy pillow top mattress, wake up to stunning 360 degree views overlooking the surrounding countryside. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the wraparound deck, a propane fire on the mid-level deck and a dip in the hot tub at ground-level. Space includes a kitchenette, bathroom, and sleeping quarters, with AC and heat.

The Pepper Shed

Welcome to "The Pepper Shed" named after our black lab. This is a unique utility shed with built-in living quarters located next to our family home located along the Cedar River. Beds are located in open loft upstairs and bathroom is located on the ground level. While staying, feel free to make yourself at home with private access to a patio, dog kennel, walk out balcony with full accommodations of Wi-Fi, TV with Roku, washer and dryer, outdoor grill and full kitchen.

This cabin is located a short 5 miles outside of Columbus, and has plenty of privacy with quiet surroundings. You will not feel like you're in Nebraska when you spend time at this property! The inside of the cabin gives you the feeling that you're in the middle of the woods, or tucked away in the mountains somewhere!
