Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. Located on the outskirts of Lake Manapouri this self contained cottage (kitchen and laundry included) has magnificent views into Fiordland National Park from both within the cottage and the outdoor BBQ and hot tub area. Fully self contained home complete with own garden area on our 12 acre alpaca farm. Keep warm and cosy every season with our alpaca duvet on the bed and black out curtains to ensure a really good nights cosy sleep. Meet and join us feeding our alpacas during your stay.

Our guests recommend a two night stay minimum in this area. Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are renowned tourist destinations. Also walks in Fiordland National Park and a local bike trail. No cleaning fee.
