Our secluded cabin is surrounded by ancient oak tree forest and all the wildlife that comes with it. It’s so peaceful that you will only hear the river and the birds. It is a few minutes drive to Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) and is equally close to beautiful beaches. It is an ideal location to explore all the many attractions that this stunning area has to offer. The location of the lodge makes it a great place to truly unwind perhaps sit on the deck or be cosy inside, watch the waterfall and listen to the sound of birdsong.

Welcome to Dolwaen. Our semi-detached, stone cottage in the Snowdonia village of Maentwrog, close to some stunning walks and truly amazing scenery. Dolwaen is perfectly situated for getting out & about in the beautiful Snowdonia national park. Ideally placed to visit historic town of Harlech, with its spectacular castle and quirky shops. Porthmadog is also close by where you can hop on the Welsh Highland Railway across to Beddgelert, Caernarfon, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

My cottage is a mid terraced small miners cottage, perched high above Blaenau FFestiniog with stunning views in a quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk from the town centre. You have access straight into the mountains. It is beautifully warm in the winter and in the summer catches the sun from dawn until dusk. Zip World, Bounce Below , the LLechwedd Slate Caverns and the FFestiniog Railway are all close by.
