Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Quiet- Beautiful- Spacious 2nd story with views of the Countryside, Southwest Mountains and Blue Ridge. Guests have walked to Barboursville and Barn 678 Vineyards. 25 minutes from Charlottesville. 11 wineries, 2 breweries & 1 Cidery within 10 miles. 40 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park. We are cooks & have furnished kitchen for those that like to cook. We sell local eggs, herbs, preserves, produce and honey harvested on the property. Access to the property is from an exterior stairway.

Welcome to the Lake Lodge! You're invited to this peaceful retreat among a canopy of trees. The home is a 3 minute walk to the lake (public side), with a private slip, HOA sitting area, & boat ramp. When you aren't admiring the lake views from the HOA dock, savor the forested yard with built in firepit, cozy hot tub, & gigabit WIFI. After a long day of fishing, boating, or hiking, the home welcomes you with a stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, TVs in each room & a soaking tub. Relaxation awaits!

Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, washer/dryer, and a dedicated workspace. Guests have full private use of the cottage and outdoor areas. Owners live on-site in a separate home and respect your privacy. Close to Rt 64, Richmond, Charlottesville, trails, wineries, and other Central VA attractions.

We recently added a 120 foot sandy beach, and a large furnished deck with several outdoor seating options, a screened in patio area, an outdoor bar and outdoor dining.

Beautiful renovated house on nearly an acre with a great yard. Indoors we have an equipped kitchen, a spacious living room. The garage is converted into a game room with pool, ping pong, arcade games and more! Outdoors has a covered patio, hot tub, fire pit, grill, hammock, fenced dog area, and lots of seating. This is the perfect retreat for anyone wanting less noise, more nature, small town vibes, water sports and lake life.

Hawkwood House King Bedroom

Hawkwood House is close to Charlottesville, VA. It is in a 100-acre wood. Two guests share downstairs bedroom. Guests may use upper floor only with prior arrangements. It is a very quiet, peaceful setting. It is located near historic sites from colonial times of the United States and the Civil War and near Charlottesville VA and homes to three early US presidents (Monticello, Ash Lawn and Montpelier).
