The Old Music Room

The Old Music Room is in the beautiful and special village of Geldeston, in the Broads National Park. It’s a super-insulated ecologically-built guest house clad in traditional oak boarding, with a living wild-flower roof and stunning views directly out over the Waveney Valley. Hedge Lodge is a spacious, self-catering holiday cottage sleeping up to five people. It enjoys beautiful views across fields of horses and backs onto a natural pond bursting with wildlife. The cottage boasts a large open plan kitchen/dining and sitting area with doors opening to a private courtyard The first floor has a quiet area for reading, or play area. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Well behaved animals are welcome on the ground floor only and WIFI, bed linen and towels are included.

It is perfectly situated for walkers just 2 miles from the bustling town of Loddon where, after a beautiful walk through the countryside, fields and country lanes why not stop for a break at one of Loddons four pubs. Also just 1.5 mile walk from the beautiful Sisland woods and many other footpaths. Just 12 miles from our fine City of Norwich which can be reached by a regular bus route from Loddon.

Come and relax at this countryside coastal retreat. We are a 5 minute walk to the nature reserve Lound Lakes, 1 mile from the golden sands of Gorleston-on-Sea and close to the Norfolk Broads.
