The tidal beach & the floating dock (May-Dec) is ideal for seasonal fishing, lounging & swimming.

This home's rustic-modern design, natural light, and all-new amenities make it a perfect getaway. Relax in the hot tub, grill on the deck, enjoy the backyard or visit downtown Hallowell and explore its restaurants, cafes, live music and antique shops. This home is also minutes away from several hiking and walking trails that can all be found in our guidebook.

The Lotus is your zen home away from home. Enjoy peace and tranquility on your private back deck, the amazing salt water hot tub (exclusively use) new sauna, heated seasonal outdoor shower, deep bathtub (showering is tricky for people taller then 5'5)with bluetooth speaker.Comfortable king size bed with European bedding and a single fold out foam mattress on the 1st floor, that was just finished as another relax area, with 70" TV, record player, hammock & hanging chair.

BREEZE, in a tree The Appleton Retreat

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

Relax by the shared firepit, restore in the wood-fired cedar sauna, or stroll to Sandy Point Beach just 0.5 miles away. With easy access to Belfast, Camden, and Acadia National Park, it’s your Maine wellness escape.

Wren Cabin + Wood fired Sauna

We built the Wren Cabin to be a serene space filled with light and art and with lots of cozy details. Lofted ceilings, a spiral staircase and large open concept with lofted bedroom. The cabin also has a gorgeous wood-fired sauna for those colder days. Wren cabin has a large wraparound deck for relaxing and an outdoor fire pit, as well as shared access to Adams Pond. The space is modern Scandinavian, light and aery, and filled with thoughtful details.
