Our tiny house in the trees is set amongst the ferns and pongas with seclusion in mind, only native birds as close neighbours. No road noise, off street parking. Nature permitting, you can star gaze while soaking in the outdoor bath, spot the milky way, or our very own glow worms. 15mins drive to CBD and Eat street, Gondolas, Canopy Tours, Hobbiton approximately an hour away.

Blue Springs Cabin , relaxation central

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Enjoy the peacefulness and serenity this unique location has to offer. Experience our bespoke, solar powered cabin, rustic but surrounded by nature. With an outdoor bath, ( not hot tub) overlooking the river. This private area is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with yourself. Wear covering clothing outdoors for insects 15 minutes from Hobbiton, close to Te Waihou Blue spring and Waiwere falls. Arriving at night, follow the solar lights. Dogs are welcome but no aggressive dogs. Please take your waste with you, we have don’t have bins in rural areas.

The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

HK’s Nest

Centrally located, it’s a 500m walk to the centre of Matamata and all it has to offer. Tom Grant Drive and Centennial Drive nearby park-like walks shared by all. The beds are a queen bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge is available for use as well. Easily accessed via ramp, the space is private and spacious. A simple breakfast of toast, cereal and hot drinks is provided. A separate deck and fenced yard provides for further enjoyment or secure parking for trailers.
