This is a private location away from the hustle of Talkeetna yet only 10 minutes away. It sits in the woods that makes one appreciate the wilds of Alaska. Perched on a hill, it offers the full view of Denali and the valley below. There is a full kitchen for those that want to be self contained and also a covered deck to enjoy the outside while enjoying the view. It has a roomy shower and a queen bed. The area has trails that can take you to the river or just explore the woods of Alaska.

Close to Iditarod headquarters, Selters Bay Golf course, 30 minutes to Hatchers Pass, 1 hour to Talketna, fishing, hiking, breweries, mountains and much more. Chum Cabin at Montana Creek & Suana

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.

This 384 square foot cabin is located on 1.4 acres. There is a beautiful view of the Mat-Su Valley from the edge of the driveway. After a full day of adventures in Alaska come back to our little cabin on the hill. This cabin comes with WiFi, a full size bed, kitchen, bath, washer, and dryer. Moose are common in the area. Please do not try to pet or feed the moose.

Red John’s cabin In 2017 Red Johns cabin was placed on Alaska’s 10 most endangered historic properties list by the AAHP. In 2018/2019 this adorable cabin was restored with help from Alaska’s Historic Preservation Fund. It is one of 13 buildings contributing to Talkeetna’s historic district on the NPS National Register of Historic Places. History and Charm!!!
