In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.

In 2018/2019 this adorable cabin was restored with help from Alaska’s Historic Preservation Fund. It is one of 13 buildings contributing to Talkeetna’s historic district on the NPS National Register of Historic Places. History and Charm!!!
