My comfortable home overlooks Lake Karapiro. It has superb, uninterrupted, water, mountain and country views from the deck and several rooms. Sunsets can be amazing and you can see it all while relaxing in the outdoor bath. The home is conveniently positioned to many activities and places of interest eg. Punga Lodge is 20 mins SE of Cambridge 10 mins from Lake Karapiro, hosting everything from Rowing World Cups to Hydroplane racing, waterski comps and triathalons. It is 20 mins away from Hobbiton and the entrance to MEI Sanctuary. Being 1 hr drive from Raglan, Mt Maunganui, Taupo and Rotorua. We aim to provide clean and comfortable indoor outdoor living while enjoying beautiful views, peace and tranquility whilst relaxing in your own mountain hideaway with amazing stargazing opportunities.

Our modern, comfortable, apartment offers you rest and privacy in a truly magic spot just perfect for a relaxing stay -great place to base yourself to visit local attractions. It's central to many NZ attractions...Lake Karapiro (rowing), Hobbiton (Lord Of The Rings), Avantidrome (cycling), Waitomo Caves,The Arts and much more. You have your own access and a key during your stay. There is good parking. The apartment is self contained and separate from the remainder of the house where we live.

Welcome to Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari! Located on the side of our visitor centre sits a spacious two-bedroom home. It is a relaxing and comfortable place to unwind, with stunning views and amazing walking trails right at your door. We are New Zealand's largest fenced eco-sanctuary, home to 2,500 kiwi which you should be able to hear at night. Your accommodation includes free access for self-guided walks through the Southern Enclosure, or book a tour to get truly immersed in nature.

The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Treetops studio by Lake Karapiro

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Hillside Cottage

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. You can feed the alpacas or visit the chicken to collect some eggs. There is always a spare paddock for horsey people visiting the area and plenty of room to park a trailer or boat. We are located 10 min away from Hobbiton, Karapiro lake and 15 min from Cambridge town centre.

Cambridge Chalet

Lovely comfortable self-contained cabin for two adults. It is situated 10 minutes from Lake Karapiro, and Cambridge. The Velodrome, Hamilton Airport and Mystery Creek are 15 minutes away. Relaxing setting in gardens in a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchenette comes with a kettle, microwave, and toaster but no hob, stove, or oven. Please note that as the Chalet is in a residential neighbourhood, all additional visitors must leave by 10:00pm.

A quiet getaway in the country NO CLEANING FEE Centrally located to many attractions. 10 minutes from Hobbiton, 5 minutes from Lake Karapiro, 15 minutes from Cambridge, 25 minutes to Mystery Creek.
