Bunkie in the Country

Last day of season Nov.28th The bunkie has a great view of the sunrise. It's a quiet rural area (please note it is a GRAVEL road). Good for couples, solo adventurers, hunters, someone looking to be outside of town. The bunkie is located approx. 30 feet behind our home. We have 1 large dog on site (lives in the house). For allergenic reasons and safety of other animals, we do not allow pets. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues (small hill & stairs). The bunkie has heat and A/C!

Whether you are looking to rest and recharge or head out on an epic adventure in the hills, this comfortable century home is the perfect base. Nestled in the quaint town of Meaford the home is walking distance to everything you need for a great stay. It has a large backyard, fire area, patios, laundry, stocked kitchen & two living rooms. The recently updated home is set up perfectly for families & medium sized groups. The large fenced in backyard is perfect for pets and a great space for kids.

Spend the day exploring and come home to this fully equipped space to relax. Located steps from the beach and trails, and close to the centre of town, great restaurants, Meaford Hall, Bruce Trail and skiing. We love dogs! There's a fenced in dog park and a leash free beach steps from our place . That same park and its trails are leash free from November - April. For peace of mind and convenience, we provide a universal EV car charger. Public charging stations are not available in Meaford.

The oversized private bedroom boasts two luxurious queen sleigh beds. Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Tinyhome situated 10 min to Thornbury and Meaford, and 20 min from Blue Mountain Village, nestled a country/residential area so it is quiet and dark at night. Has all the basic comforts including spacious 3 piece bathroom. Close drive to beaches and many hikes and cross country ski trails in the area. It is also a 15 minute drive from Beaver Valley Ski Club and a number of different cideries. Shared heated pool available for the summer months. Window Aircon/pool opens end of May or June.
