You're not staying in an investment property, this home is our family home and has been for over 50 years. Playgrounds, beach access with the provided pass, tennis and pickleball, and of course, walks along the beautiful lakeside. A peaceful retreat while still conveniently located near Medina, Cleveland and Akron. Open floor plan and covered patio provide lots of opportunities for entertaining.

The JoKo Cottage

Welcome to our cozy little cottage built in the early 1930’s by a then well-known artist, Joe Koch (JoKo was his artist name). Joe designed and built the cottage and is full of his unique style. It was featured in 1950 in The Akron Beacon Journal with lots of pictures! All of the wormy chestnut wood (wood with holes in it) is original to the cottage. Even the tile by the fireplace is original. In this place many beautiful things were created. We hope you find beauty here too!

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Close to Amish country, Cuyahoga National Park (40 mins), 40 minutes from Cleveland Airport and 45 minutes from Malabar Farm State Park. You will be surrounded by trees and green grass (unless it's wintertime). Enjoy sitting outside listening to the birds, watching the local deer and turkey population. Play corn hole and listen for Amish buggies driving down the road. Plenty of space for kids and adults to run around outside.

One mile south of the square in Medina, 30 minutes to CLE, 30 minutes to CAK. Come stay at Grandma's house. Comfy and functional for 7-8 guests. Open first floor with three bedrooms up, enjoy a game of Ms Pacman or Donkey Kong whilst you wait on dinner. This home is new from top to bottom. Full kitchen, new deck, gas grille.
