Situated in a peaceful lane ten minutes walk from the village centre and 2 pubs, the property has its own front door, well equipped kitchenette, modern shower and toilet, large lounge diner, inglenook and two double bedrooms. The Byre at Cold Christmas

Escape to the country and stay in a cosy converted barn with a log burning stove and a secluded sunny patio area with outdoor dining and barbeque. Lovely, open-plan old barn conversion in a beautiful rural hamlet full of WWII history. This newly refurbished one bedroom barn is perfectly situated for countryside walks along the Hertfordshire Way, clay pigeon shooting at the Olympic standard Nuthampstead Shooting Ground, cycling, and a short walk to our local pub full of military history from the time an American Bomber squadron was based here. We are only 30 minutes by car from Cambridge City Centre and plenty of nearby attractions.

Vineyard Annexe

This unique place has a style all its own. Comfortable Annexe with separate entrance set within 3 acres of grounds and working vineyard. Walking distance of the village pub. Breakfast can be provided, either served in the barn or provided in your fridge for you to cook for an additional cost. Please message for details. Please note there's a cockerel and large dogs on the premises. We sadly cannot accommodate pets. You are promised a warm welcome and complimentary tour of the vineyard.

Wonderfully cosy barn, recently renovated to a genuinely high spec - the Grade II listed 'Dovecote' is located on a working arable farm in a lovely remote setting in the Essex countryside. Situated next to a small duck pond, overlooking the farmyard and the local church, The Dovecote is a two-storey brick and oak framed building finished to a truly high standard. Peaceful and remote with its own courtyard, the Dovecote has an elevated location in the otherwise undeveloped yard.

Lovingly built, my shepherd’s hut is wonderful for a short break away from it all. Located in the rural village of Stocking Pelham in Herts, the surrounding area is perfect for country walks or cycling. Nearby pubs offer great beer and fabulous dining. A short drive away you have various attractions including Henry Moore, Audley End, and the lovely old market town of Saffron Walden. Cambridge and Newmarket are not too far either.
