Perched on the edge of the river, this charming cabin is the perfect year-round retreat. Fully insulated and with a log stove, hot shower and wooden sauna the cabin is the perfect bolthole no matter what the weather outside is doing. Everything you need for a secluded escape from the world. Just relax, unwind, sit by the fire, walk in the hills, and be.

Peaceful Dyfi Valley Cottage | Hendre-gau

Nestled above the peaceful Dyfi Valley lowlands located up a hiddlen valley you’ll find Hendre-gau, a traditional 16th century welsh longhouse. The cottage is surrounded by nature with all the comforts you’ll need, it also offers spectacular views and a great place to relax and recharge. Great base for exploring the Dyfi Valley and Snowdonia National Park. • 3 miles from the historic town of Machynlleth • 5 mins from Dyfi Bike Park • 5 mins from Dyfi Osprey centre • 20 minutes from the beach

Cute cottage in Machynlleth centre

Originally stables, the cottage has been sustainably converted to one-up-one-down self-catering accommodation. Double bed, shower, washing m/c, sofa-bed & well equipped kitchen. Easy to get to via public transport. 10 min walk from station and 5 mins to bus stops. Very close to shops, cafes etc. Cycle parking available. There is usually space to park a car on the drive, but be aware that the entrance is a bit narrow. We also have an EV charger. We have swifts nesting between May and August.

Follow local footpaths and cycle routes, and see nature at its best with Red Kites soaring in the skies above.

Pretty sunny cottage, Machynlleth

A lovely old renovated cottage with inglenook fireplace, wood burning stove and mezzanine. It is well equipped for your stay as I have tried to make it a home from home for you with many books and houseplants. There will always be some welcome goodies and you can sleep in snuggly beds made up with 100% cotton or organic cotton sheets and feather and down duvets. The cottage is situated in the pretty wooded Dulas valley near the historic town of Machynlleth, close to Snowdonia and the sea.

Tucked away at the top of a half mile-long unmade track, Cabin Cwningen offers a peaceful retreat within the grounds of Wenallt Barn, hosted by your welcoming owners, John and Julie. Recently refurbished the cabin has been updated to offer a comfortable stay, inside, you’ll find a cosy log fire, while outside you can unwind in your private hot tub and take in the views.

Sleeps 8 in three double beds, and two single beds. Two Ground floor bedrooms (double and twin) , one loft bedroom with double bed and a mezzanine sleeping area with a double bed above the main living space. Bathroom and wet room on the ground floor. Great Walking, Mountain Biking and Trail Running trails from the doorstep.

The Stable, Machynlleth

A stylish cabin within the grounds of Felin Crewi Cottages on the outskirts of the great little town of Machynlleth - so near to the Snowdonia Country Park, so near to the sea. Step out the stable door straight onto the Glyndŵr's Way .... and carry on walking! Rustic on the outside, modern on the inside - providing a great little holiday accommodation in a beautiful setting. There is a king size bed with a small single bunk above (this bunk is for one child - or small adult! )

Within easy reach of the coast at Borth and Aberdyfi, as well as Cadair Idris and Dolgellau, ideal for walkers and cyclists. Peaceful, tranquil, warm and cosy, with extensive gardens, a nature reserve and stream. No shops or pubs nearby but we do have wifi!

A lovely quiet location, less than a mile from the town centre, we’re surrounded by glorious hillside scenery to the front, far-reaching panoramic views from the embankment behind the house. A great base for walking & cycling.
