Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

Samadhi’s Birdhouse is a quiet retreat perched atop a tiny peninsula that juts out into the southern portion of Clear Lake reaching toward Mount Konocti [Mountain Woman in Pomo]. Water surrounds you on all sides as birds abound. You’ll see pelicans streaming past; egrets finding their familiar ground; eagles, hawks, and turkey vultures looking down in curiosity. Deer, jackrabbits, and wild turkey graze together while melodic birdsong fills the air.

La Puerta del Mar

A masterful combination of disappearing glass and vast ocean expanse that blurs the line between indoor living and the outdoor terrace. Perched high above the confluence of the Navarro River and the Pacific Ocean sits La Puerta del Mar- 3 bedrooms (all king-size beds), 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, gas grill, 1800+ square feet, high-speed internet access, sauna and hot tub. Fireplaces are decorative only due to insurance restrictions.

Enjoy a private forest camping hut. Rustic yet designed with comfort in mind. Nestled among the Redwoods a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. This is a place for you to disconnect and reconnect with the surroundings. To unplug and decompress from busy life. 5 miles from our town of Elk and a nice coastal drive to historic Mendocino. Welcome to Seven Arbor Cottage! Enjoy some peace and quiet among the trees while taking in a peek-a-boo view of Clearlake or relaxing in the outdoor hot tub. My two story cottage is nestled in the Black Forest so there's plenty of privacy from neighbors and several interpretative hikes for wandering. Relax on the multi-level deck and stare at the sunrises and starry night skies or chill in the hammock that's surrounded by a bamboo garden.
