Quiet retreat by Caddo lake with private boat ramp. Launch your own boat, or use kayaks. Filming of the movie produced by M. Night Shyamalan "Caddo Lake" was seen from the waterfront of Pelican Place. The patio is perfect for grilling dinner while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Caddo Lake. The updated interior of the house has maintained its rustic charm; provides a complete kitchen, private bedroom & queen sleeper sofa in living room. Get a laugh seeing a recreated outhouse bathroom but with a modern toilet. Enjoy eating on a chuck wagon tabletop. Additionally, sit by an open firepit and make complimentary s'mores all while gazing at the galaxy of stars, watching the wildlife, and viewing our cattle during the day. We welcome all guest into our charming four bedroom farmhouse decorated in French country. Enjoy privacy on this 20 acre gated property with plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats. Centrally located to all attractions in Bossier and Shreveport. I love to meet new people from diverse backgrounds. Waterfront - The Red Camp at Lake Bistineau

About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!
