Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

Welcome to Big Lake/Monticello! Our one bedroom studio is fully equipped for your stay. Private screen porch, separate, private entrance, full kitchen and walk in shower. Ample parking. We provide a few light breakfast items such as coffee, juice, milk. We will re-supply coffee, tea, bottled water.
