Historic Windsor Hotel Room #3

Originally built as a silver miners hotel in 1800’s. It has been in the same family over 100 years. We take great pride in keeping the property historic and not renovated. Step back in time to aged cracked wallpaper in areas from the 1920’s. The floor creaks, the house is crooked, this is an experience, not modern. Most of the furniture is original antiques from the proprietors past. The bathroom is shared but easily as our guests are adventurists and leave at all different hours of the morning.

Alien Robot room 2078 at Video Vision

While visiting Winona, MN stay in this newly converted space. This unique place has a style all its own. This building is the former home of Video Vision, a home movie rental store that serviced the Winona area from the early 80’s until 2019. I purchased this building and spent the better part of a year converting it to 4 exceptional spaces, each designed and curated to reflect Winona hotspots, history and culture. Winterfel at the Ore House Inn.

Winterfel is a beautiful studio apt. Located upstairs at the Ore House Inn, a 130 year old building in downtown New Castle! Sleeps 2 with full kitchen and full bath. Themed room has cable t.v. and all typical hotel amenities. Our hallways characterize New Castle's mining history. Close to Sunlight Ski, The Flattop Mountains and Rifle Mountain Park we hope your needs for the Colorado Mountain environment will be met. Your Private (not shared) bathroom is right across the hall! Store your bikes & boards on the private roomy patio & head inside to a renovated kitchen, large bathroom & king bed. There is nothing small here. You'll be located near Riverside Park, restaurants, breweries and distillery. Grab a bite before your adventure and then enjoy a drink afterward. THE PATIO SUITE AWAITS!

The Woodsman Suite

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.

Spend the night at the Commerce Street Brewery! We have been welcoming guests to our brewpub and luxurious guestrooms since 1998. Built in a restored 1854 mining warehouse, history and charm abound. All of the guest rooms in my home (above the brewery) feature air conditioning and private bathrooms, luxury bedding, linens, and bath amenities, fireplaces, oversized whirlpool bathtubs, and free fast internet, parking, cable tv, and continental breakfast.

This one of a kind cob home is the perfect getaway! Aho sits just so at the base of the Grand Mesa, with downhill and cross country skiing. Aspen and Snowmass are a two hour drive and Telluride is a two hour and 15 minute drive. The Cob’s spaces are artfully designed to frame mountain views, in mild winter temperatures. Star gazing entertains, as you unwind in dark sky seclusion. Come!
