You’ll love our place because of its quiet location on a country estate: from here you can walk, golf, sightsee, in winter go up and ski at Glenshee; head to Edinburgh (1hr by train) and Glasgow, eat in fabulous restaurants or stay and cook in our well-equipped kitchen. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends.

For Mon-Tue evening meals we provide Oakhouse Foods Frozen complete meals.

An old but beautiful Scottish castle dating back to 1376. Near the beach in the quaint coastal village of Inverbervie. Within easy driving distance of several golf courses, other historic buildings and castles, including the world famous Dunnottar Castle, as well as several nature reserves. Hallgreen castle is an authentic 14th century castle, with an olde world feel and many period features.

Balgavies Home Farm - B&B Poppy Room

Balgavies Home Farm is set in the beautiful rolling Angus countryside within the Lunan Valley. The buildings date from around 1890, the old steadings and mill form a complex of buildings which include: a private house, a cottage, 2 bed & breakfast rooms, and a luxurious spa area* with a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and aquarium. Accommodation in traditional flat

The flat is on a very quiet street with a garden at the back. It is warm and comfortable with traditional furnishings. Guests have a choice of sleeping in a bedroom or on a sofa bed in the living room where there is a television and open fire if required. Breakfast can be had in the dining room which looks on to the garden at the back. This room is very popular.
