Hidden deep within the Dyfi Forest on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park is our unique, off grid cabin. With amazing views over the valley, you can just sit back and enjoy the natural world around you. If mountain biking is your thing, we are right on the Climachx Mountain Bike Trails and a stones throw from Dyfi Bike Park. There's lush river swimming spots, lakes, waterfalls and mountains to explore. Our nearest beach is Aberdyfi, just 30mins away. 16mins drive to the epic Cadair Idris!

Plas Y Cadno Grain Silo

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Nestled on a working farm in the Heart of Wales. A meticulously restored grain silo full of character and unique features; a study in using, re-using & recycling wood metal and functional parts. Seamlessly blending agricultural, industrial, & steam-punk; and warmed throughout with classical features and local salvaged hardwoods. Due to the design of the silo and its unique features it's more suited to adult guests only.

Step aboard The Toad, a beautifully restored 1921 GWR brake van (AKA Toad Wagon), once a vital part of post-war goods trains. Weighing 20 tons and brimming with original rustic features, this historic wagon offers characterful self-catering accommodation with a touch of luxury. Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

This delightful shepherd's hut situated on our smallholding in West Wales (lovingly built using low impact and reclaimed materials), offers a fantastic base to explore the nearby beaches, mountains and other attractions. The thoughtfully furnished interior includes a super comfy double bed, simple kitchen and cosy woodburner. Outside is a large decking area, your own unique walk in spiral shower and a separate compost loo.

Come and stay in our unique and romantic country cabin and enjoy the stunning views. Located in West Wales (10 minutes from seaside town, Aberystwyth), It’s a short walk from a traditional welsh country village, which has the amazing award winning gastro pub - Y Ffarmers. Just to notify, there is a 150 meter walk from the car to the cabin including steps, but we are happy to help with luggage if needed.
