A getaway for family and friends, the sharp clean lines of this house with its green roof and natural eco-treated wood siding was designed to blend into its natural surroundings...with the non-human visitors, including Moose, Elk, Deer, Bear and Great Horned Owls, we think it has. The 700 square feet of deck offers a great viewing for sunsets and wildlife.

Nestled among tall pine trees on 1 acre at over 11,000 ft, this inviting home offers the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and access to adventure and relaxation. You are 5 min walking distance to the Pennsylvania Mountain Trailhead, 45 minutes from the slopes in Breckenridge and 45 min to the hot springs in Buena Vista. Or you can just enjoy the hot tub at the cabin and watch for moose, elk, and fox while enjoying the fresh mountain air. There is also a little secret loft in the Master :)

You'll enjoy the best mountain views on the property when you choose Mt. Massive for your vacation. Located on the northwest end of the triplex building, you'll have no problem gazing at Mt. Shavano from the back windows or from the private hot tub. Chalets are thoroughly cleaned upon check out. If you are highly allergic to pet dander, please be cautious of your allergies while staying at Creekside Chalets.

Mt. Columbia Chalet

Mt. Columbia is our largest stand alone chalet, formerly the office/owner's residence, it's layout is unique and is located closest to the entrance. A gated deck and fenced in yard makes it perfect for pets and a private hot tub out back looks on a meadow of aspens towards the creek. Unwind on the leather sofa and reclining chair in the main living room in front of a beautiful gas fireplace and 65'' DLP TV.

A recent review said it had a Goldilocks quality of being just far enough away from town to feel private and secluded, while being close enough to walk; we couldn’t agree more!

Mt. Shavano Chalet

If you'd prefer a more private getaway for your Salida vacation, Mt. Shavano is the chalet for you. It's located at the back of the property just 35 feet from the waters edge. It is the most popular chalet on the property, so it's best to book as early as possible.
