This cozy studio style cottage sleeps 2 guests. It has a queen bed and a full bath w/ shower. Two Stressless leather reclining chairs with ottoman’s & side table for your comfort. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort is 11 miles/20 minutes away, by way of a scenic notch along the West Branch of the Ausable River. Lake Placid is 20 miles/35 minutes away. Dogs welcome at $75 per dog (no cats, please), per stay, up to two dogs. No cats due to guest allergies.

SilverBear Cabin, 15 min from Whiteface &ski jumps

This cabin is in the heart of the high peaks, 15 minutes from Whiteface, and 15 minutes from Lake Placid. It is nestled on a hill right off the main road, overlooking the village of Keene! It is within walking distance from all of the shops in town. Although the driveway is plowed, it is steep, so in the winter you will need four wheel drive. The cabin is off Rt 73, but it is tucked away and very private! You don’t see any neighbors! A great year round rental :)
