Cozy dog friendly cabin nestled among tall fir trees and rhododendron bushes. Peaceful view from the sitting/ office area. Wood paneling throughout gives the cabin a cozy, warm feeling. It's a 2 bed, 1.5 bath @ 850 sq ft but with its tall open beam ceilings and airy windows - it feels big for a small space. The cabin stays naturally cool throughout the summer & Zigzag river swimming hole is close by! Plus - fast WiFi and large desk with monitor lets you get work done while enjoying the outdoors!

For those who aren’t familiar, Gov't Camp is Mount Hood’s beautiful alpine town, and offers easy access to world-renowned skiing, cross country paths, hiking trails, mountain lakes, and more. The village offers restaurants, pubs, deli/cafes and shopping; our cabin itself is not fancy, but it's super cozy, and just a 5 minute walk to everything! Barlow Cabin has great Mt Hood (11,245 feet) old growth and meadow views One mile to Trillium Lake and close to hiking trails. King sized bed main floor, 2 bedrooms 2nd floor. Note that second floor access is steep not suited for young children or disabled. Woodstove with glass window, firewood supplied but always good to bring kindling and matches) Can sleep up to 10 Sounds of Mineral Creek are heard, outdoor cedar sauna,. In winter we are 1.5 miles in on snowshoes/hiking xcountry skis
